Happy Tuesday!
I have been stroking the Wanderlust papers since I got them – anyone else do that?! They are so very beautiful and I’ve used them in such a way that you could easily forget it’s the same paper pad.
For my first card today, I decided to go with the travel theme and and of course what do you do when you go on holiday? You send a postcard! I used one of the papers from the pad to make my own postcard by first cutting to size then I used glimmer paste through a stencil to add the ‘Carta Postale’. I finished off by using distress inks around the edges to give it a vinage look.
I fussy cut some suitacases and globes from the paper pad and added it to my card with foam pads to give dimension. I finished off the card with a sentiment stamped on the same paper pad and adding distress ink around the edges.
Next up, I stuck with the glimmer paste and picked up my favourite – Fairy Dust. As some of the papers are quite floral I decided to incorporate some leaves on the background of my card through a stencil.
This time I just fussy cut a part of the paper that said ‘Take Me Anywhere’ as I thought it would be a good way of incopororating a sentiment. Besides, I love to be taken anywhere don’t you?!
I hope I’ve inspired you to use your Wanderlust pad with other mediums to give your papers a very unique look.
See you again later in the month!
