It’s Shabneez here enjoying a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and it’s not so long until my sons start back at school after the summer holidays. My final post for this month is focusing on those really cute CrafTangles crabs I associate with the summer!
I have made a trio of cards using the CrafTangles ‘By The Sea’ and ‘Oh Crab!’ stamp sets. I thought the sentiments in the sets went so well with the images. For my first card, I used a film reel die cut and used the CrafTangles foil as an accent on the edge. The stamped images were coloured and fussy cut.
I coloured and fussy cut the crabs again making an almost comic scene with one of the crabs being hoisted in the air by the the balloon – don’t you just love the expressions on their faces?!
For my final card, I made a circular easel card. For this, I found it easier to use a folded square card and in this case I used the CrafTangles cardstock to make my own. You place the circle die on the card making sure part of off the card fold as you can see on the right of my photo. This will ensure your circles are attached.
So when you take your card out you get the image below and I have folded one half which will be the part you add your topper to.
I’ve had a lot of fun coming up with these creations and it’s been made so much easier due to the amazing products in particular the stamp sets and stencils. Please do let me know what you think!
See you again next month!
