Happy Monday!
For this post I used one of the first stamp sets I got when I joined the CrafTangles DT, and to this day it is still one of my favourites. It’s the Super Boys stamp and die set which I have teamed with other CrafTangles products to create a set of cards suitable for Father’s Day.
I really enjoyed making this set of cards as it’s been a while since I made masculine cards. I find I make more cards for women than men. How about you?
To begin with I stamped, coloured in and die cut all the images. I used my Chamelon pens and colour tops.
For my first card, I decided to use a stencil and inked through it to form a background. I stuck on the image and then added an orange strip at the bottom and die cut letters to form DAD. To finish, I stamped the sentiment.
Next up, I matted and layered with black and glitter card to form the background. I added an inverse scallop die cut and matted that with the glitter card before adding a stamped Dad sentiment. I stuck on the image and stamped the ‘happy father’s day’ on before adding some tonic nuvo drops to finish.
For my final card I decided to make a colourful background to go with my superhero. I used die cut clouds and a sun and stamped a couple of sentiments to finish before sticking on the image.
I hope that these cards have inspired you to make some masculine cards as they are a lot of fun and they are cards that we as crafters often struggle with.
See you again soon!
