Hey everyone,
Savithri here once again with an exciting decoupage fairy house project for you all. I love upcycling things around and today I’m sharing one such upcycled Fairy House tutorial, made from a tea kettle, with the beautiful watercolor springs decoupage paper from CrafTangles. I also love to create different textures and dimensions in my projects and I will be showing you how to do that with simple materials through this tutorial.
Who doesn’t love Fairy Houses, they are so magical and whimsical. The newly launched watercolor springs decoupage paper design gave me a great idea to create one. And it was in line with our monthly challenge theme-Feminine too. I had this beautiful vintage looking kettle and it was the perfect base to do this project on. I stuck the water color design on the kettle and then built the textures and dimensions around the paper. I have shared loads of techniques in this tutorial like decoupage on curved surface, faux moss and wood texture, 3D flowers etc. These techniques can be applied in many other projects to create beautiful effects and textures.
So here’s a glimpse of the beautiful decoupage fairy house.
Below is the detailed video tutorial on how I made this Fairy House.
