Ishani here and today I have some tips and tricks to share with you all on Watercolours which is also our monthly challenge, If you are an Indian or have heard about India, you have probably heard about the richness cultures, the various religions living harmoniously and the colourful festivals. CrafTangles have the best products depicting India and Indian culture and I have three Indian themed cards within few of the products by Craftangles to showcase and give you ideas for our upcoming festival months. We are playing with watercolours for this month’s challenge and I have used various ways of incorporating watercolours and spread love and seek blessings of the Gods, Hindus in India Worship!
Quick and easy Ganesha card for any occasions with watercolours –
Lord Ganesha is the Hindu God of beginnings, so let’s start with the card I made with the Ganesha stencil. I have used two colors Mustard and Pink ink pads and done water smooshing with acetate on the watercolor paper. When done with acetate the ink smooshing is controlled. You may check this video to see how I do this technique. Then I tool black ink ( memento ink pad) and stenciled my Ganesha with blending brush. I didnot choose to put a sentiment as I can use it for many occasions and I can write inside when I need to give it. I adhered my panel to the black card base.
