Happy Valentine’s Day

Well here we were celebrating new year and it’s Valentine day already..
It seems time flies.. Today’s day calls for a special Love card.. So
here is my best attempt till date on CAS(Clean And Simple) Card.. Well
this card was again on order and since it was for a guy I had to keep
flowers an embellishment to a minimum.. So I had recently made a
Valentine day card(which I will share soon I promise:)) and once it was
done I ended up with loads of ribbon scraps.. And a card showcased by Dawn using those scraps came to my mind.. And here is what I made of it ..
Happy Valentine's Day 1

For the border I have used Ek Success Punch. I have cut a heat from the white card stock and then stamped it using Gold Brilliance Ink Pad it gives an awesome shimmer to the card stock and what an elegant look.. I am a lazy person and heat embossing is boring for me.. So for people like me the Brilliance archival inks are a perfect shortcut :).. Then I have added some of the scrap ribbon and glued it on the card base.. Then I have adhered my stamped card stock using foam adhesives, these gave the perfect dimension to my card.. I have also used some hemispherical pearls.. The sentiment is from Micia stamps.. I have also used some golden edge white ribbon scraps..
Here are some more shots from different angles –

Now for the inside of the card –

For the inside I have stamped a white card stock using Tim Holtz Walnut stain distress ink.. and then die cut it using Spellbinder dies.. I have distressed the die cut again with Gold Brilliance Ink.. I have also used Cheryl Lynn die..
Hope you guys liked my card and if yes do share some love 🙂
Happy Crafting and have a Romantic Valentines Day 🙂
