Hello! Its Birthday card time at HNDMD and I’ve created 3 birthday cards using one floral stamp set from Craftangles.
You will find all the details of the CrafTangles birthday challenge here.
When you see my process video, you will see that I have coloured the flowers in three different ways.
To make the first card, I started by colouring a panel of Craftangles watercolour paper with Craftangles liquid watercolours. Once dry I stamped the flower from the Craftangles ‘Congratulations” stamp set to get three different shades for the flowers. I then stamped the flowers on a card panel, coloured in the leaves and added the cutout flowers with 3D tape. I added the birthday sentiment from Craftangles Birthday Wishes stamp set
I added a splatter of Craftangles shooting star liquid watercolour for interest and adhered the panel to a 4.25×5.5 inch card base to complete this birthday card.
For the second birthday card, I started again with a water coloured panel of CrafTangles cold pressed watercolour paper.
For this card I chose to keep the flower white (ish). I coloured it lightly using some of the background colours. I then added a bold birthday sentiment to finish the panel.
I adhered it to a 4.25 x5.5 inch card base to finish the card.
For thr third card, I used the no line watercolouring technique. I stamped the flower using ‘Antique Linen’ Distress oxide. I then coloured it in with Craftangles liquid watercolours. Off camera, I created a background using Craftangles script stencil and Craftangles white texture paste. Once the flower was dry, I fussy cut it, and adhered it to the textured background along with birthday sentiments cut out from the ‘Birthday Sentiments’ elements pack.
I then adhered the panel to a 4.25 x5.4 inch card base to finish the birthday card.
