It’s that time of the year when we open our doors to artists, crafters and designers throughout India and any international applicants who wish to join our talented design team. We are excited to announce that we are having our design team call for the next year (2022 – 2023) and as last time we are open to both Indian as well as International designers.
For those who haven’t heard of us, we are CraftTangles! We are a leading Indian art and crafts brand, part of HNDMD – one of India’s top online arts and crafts stores. We manufacture card making, mixed media, decoupage, and watercolour supplies including patterned papers, stamps, stencils, decoupage products, sequins, cardstocks, heat transfer foils, chalk paints, mixed media products, watercolour and acrylic products and much more. So over the next 5 weeks till 15th July 2022, we are calling upon all the crafty souls and artsy minds to be a part of our journey where we create and share some real handmade goodness. Why should you apply to our design team call? / What would you get?
Goodie Bag – A goodie bag of CrafTangles products every few months. It would be a combination of our existing products and the new launches of the month. Your goodie bag is totally on us.
Additional Discounts at HNDMD.com for all your purchases as our Design Team member. You will receive a special coupon code to get an additional discount on all products across the store.
Additional Teacher’s discounts for CrafTangles products. If you are a teacher who takes classes or workshops you will get further discounts on CrafTangles products purchased for the students.
Promotion of your name and work on our social media channels including a blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Custom watermark and badge to display on your blog and other social media channels
What do we expect from you?
Work as a team with the HNDMD team as well as other design team members. We are a very ethical and customer-centric company and want to make creativity enjoyable as well as professional for all our team members. You would work with our Design Team Co-ordinator to share your project deliverables before your assigned dates. All the dates and deliverables would be known to you beforehand so that you also have your creative juices flowing and you can share them well within time.
Projects: We expect at least 2 projects every month. More would always be welcome. In any special case, if we require a specific/additional project from you, we would inform you in advance.
We expect the project posts to be detailed and of use to the end-user, in essence, that the end reader loves it and takes inspiration from them while highlighting our products and different techniques that they can be used with.
Photos – ‘A Picture tells a thousand words’ – You should be able to take good photos of your projects. They are a showcase of your creativity and work. We would always want it to be Instagram worthy 🙂
Deadlines – The projects would have deadlines with respect to you as well as other designers. You should be able to work with them. Your project dates would be fixed so that you can work with them easily.
Video Content – Two posts every month needs to contain a video (Tutorials/product reviews/techniques/live project etc.). So if you have a large following on YouTube, do let us know. It would surely earn you a few brownie points and in case, you choose to be part of our Design Team, a few extra goodies. Each project video deliverable would have two aspects namely a detailed tutorial / Live and a short Reel. Every couple of months you would need to do a live project on our social media channels in place of one of the two monthly projects.
Blogs and Social Media – We expect our DT members to be active on their blogs and social media including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest (optional). Our Design Team members are the creative face of our company, and we expect them to promote CrafTangles and HNDMD wherever possible including social groups, your own blog and social media accounts. You would be required to write your posts on our blog detailing your project (it would not be needed in case of a live project)
While you are free to work with other international brands, our DT members cannot work with / be part of / promote any other Indian brand with competing products
Feedback – We may provide you with a few samples of our products pre-launch and we would expect honest feedback on the same to us.
Tenure – The commitment is of 12 months
