Happy Tuesday!
It’s Shabneez here and I’m bringing you a selection of the CrafTangles new release stamps and stencils to make celebration cards in this post.
For my first card I decided to use the warli borders stamp set which goes so well with the tribal basics stencil in my mind. It actually made me think of the simplicity of life in that era.
I took time creating the background for this one and began by smooshing distress oxides on my craft mat and putting my card over it until it was covered. I took the tribal basics stencil and went over the background with distress oxides again. I then stamped one of the warli borders and a couple of the sentiments from the From All of Us stamp set in versafine black ink. I matted this onto a black card blank.
For my second card I opted to used one of the images from the Eid stencil to create a Diwali card! Due to the chalky finish of the distress oxides they show up really well on black card. As Diwali is the festival of light I chose to make the lit lanterns the focal point of the card. I finished with a gold heat embossed sentiment.
For my final card I couldn’t resist using the Diwali Lace stencil with the sparkling silver glimmer paste. It is so beautiful and I wanted it to be the focal point of my card so just added a silver heat embossed sentiment to finish. I used red card to set off the glitter paste and I think it works well don’t you?
I hope this post has inspired you to use the new release products in different ways.
See you again soon!
