Happy Weekend!
It’s Shabneez here nursing a cold. It seems like colds have gone around the household and it’s my turn now.
Here in the UK it is Mother’s Day next Sunday so I have decided to use the CrafTangles Hug Me stamp set along with a selection of other products to make a set of cards to celebrate.
For my first card I have used the CrafTangles Vintage Rosette paper pad as the backing and added fussy cut roses from the same paper to emphasize the sentiment around the die cut wreath.
I’ve used my Zig pens to colour in the cute bunny rabbit that says ‘Love You’. I really like that there’s a variety of sentiments in the set.
Next up I did a little paper piecing with the scarf on the cat to match the rest of the papers. I used the CrafTangles Sweet Love paper pad for the background this time.
I gave the cat a little more character and definition with my colouring this time using dark and light grey Zig pens for the colouring. I die cut a photo frame outline and added some die cut hearts to finish along with the sentiment.
For my final card I used a stencil to make the brick wall background by using a couple of distress inks.
I used a combination of Hickory Smoke and Black Soot dsitress inks to create a hole in the wall effect with the dog peeking out. Hearts and a die cut MUM finished the card.
Three very different designs using one stamp set together with papers and stencils. Please feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts below!
I’ll be back at the end of the month with the monthly challenge so see you then!
