Cards for Mom

Hello!
I am  showcasing the newly released Craftangles  stamps and stencils today!
I had so much fun making these cards!
The illustrations by Seema Sinha are just fab,
and I had fun conceptualising the sentiment stamps along with the HNDMD team.
For the first card, I created a background using the Craftangles stacked blocks stencil and Tim Holtz mustard seed distress ink.
I stamped the illustration on a piece of white card stock and watercoloured it.
I then used the Lawn Fawn ‘polaroid’ die to die cut the image as well as the polaroid frame in black.
I heat embossed the word MOM in white to make it pop.
I also used the same stencil and ink as the background to create a background for the illustration.
I adhered these die cut pieces to the card base, stamped the sentiment (from Craftangles ‘Dad you rock’ stamp set) and added some Craftangles sequins to finish the card.

For the second card, I started by creating a background using the Craftangles ‘diamond fade’ stencil and Tim Holtz ‘Cracked pistachio’ distress ink.
On this, I stamped the sentiments (from Craftangles ‘Wonderful Mom’ and ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ stamp sets) using Memento London Fog ink.
To add some humour, I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the graduating cookie (from Lawn Fawn) and adhered it using 3Dfoam tape.
I finished the card using chip board embellishments from Craftangles and pink hearts from
Letz Craft.
Just for fun, I gave the cookie mom, rose tinted glasses!!!

For my third card, I decided to use the newly released Craftangles ‘Pretty plaid’ paper pack for the background. Here too, I stamped the image on piece of smooth white card stock, watercoloured it and then die cut it using Lawn Fawn’s polaroid die.
This time, I added some fun foam to the die cut to give it some dimension and interest.
I then adhered this panel to a kraft card base, also from Craftangles.

I love how these cards turned out.
I will be showcasing more products from the Craftangles April release in the next few days, so stay tuned!
I hope you feel inspired to try out these
new stamp sets!
Thanks so much for stopping by..
Have a great day!
