Hello! I have two birthday boy and girl cards for you today! I made these for the ongoing Craftangles ‘Birthday’ challenge! You can find all the details HERE
I am super thrilled by how these cards turned out.
For the first card, I used the image from the Craftangles ‘birthday boy’ stamp set and watercoloured it using Craftangles liquid watercolours. I wanted to create a glow on the boys face from the light of the candles..it is the first time I have attempted something like this. I love how it turned out. Craftangles liquid watercolours blend so beautifully to create such a fun effect. You can see my process in the video below.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set to finish the card.
For the second card, I decided to make a mirror image of the birthday girl. The image is from the Craftangles birthday girl stamp set. I wanted to create a card for a pair of twins’ 1st birthday and this image was perfect.
You can see how I created the mirror image in the video below.
Once done, I watercoloured the images, fussy cut them and assembled them with some glitter cardstock to finish the card.
You can see my Birthday Boy and girl process video here..
