Hello! I have a couple of glitter and shine stamped cards for mom and dad today, as inspiration for the ongoing challenge over on the Craftangles blog. You can find out the details HERE.
For the first card, I stamped the image of the Dad and daughter swinging in the air, from the stamp set “Dad you rock” by Seema for Craftangles. The inspiration for this card came from a card that was made by my friend Ishani of “Quillish”.
I decided to create a silhouette and place it behind the heart along with a beautiful heat embossed sentiment from Craftangles which adds the glitter and shine element.
For the second card, I started out by creating a gold embossed background using all the sentiments from the “Happy Mother’s Day” ‘ stamp set from Craftangles. This is a stamp set that I helped create for Craftangles.
Once done, I cut out a heart from the centre of the panel and inserted a coloured image of a mom and son from the “Wonderful Mom” stamp set from Craftangles .
To create some interest, I cut out a heart frame out of glitter card stock and added it to the card to add the glitter and shine element.
I finished the card with a simple sentiment.
