Namaste Crafty Friends,
March is one of the most powerful months of the year as it remind us to celebrate the women in your life. A woman is an epitome of beauty, wisdom and care.
She has climbed the mountains and dived into the ocean; she has matched the steps with every man in the world. International Women’s Day celebrates the power of women – their rights and role in our lives and society.
But before, proceeding further, take a look below for the details of our monthly challenge.
One of the most powerful quotes on Women’s Day is ”No matter where you go, you can encounter the power of a woman, she runs a company in the most efficient way, and she raises her children in a way that nobody ever can think of doing!”
So to embrace the women in us and celebrate the women in our lives, I have created the pink and floral card, after all that is what pink signifies to me. The hero of our today’s cards will be Craftangles Mom You Rock Stampset.

let’s have a look at the celebration cards of ‘Women in your life’:
Let’s create the first card
TO create this card I rimmed a panel of 4.25 x 5,5 inches from the Crfatangles Dual Textured White cardstock and then ink blended using the Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean for the blue part and Tattered Rose and Milled Lavender for the pink shade. Splattered some water to add some interest. and finally added the sprig flowers which I colored using the Alcohol markers and fussy cut. Added the sentiments You Rock in the most subtle way.
Finally adhered the panel which was later trimmed to 4x 5.25 inches on to the pre cut side folding note card by Craftangles.
Second Card
I kept the second card very simple to keep the focus on the very beautifully illustrated cherry blossoms.
To create this card I trimmed a panel of 4.5x. 5.5 inches of watercolor paper and the stamped the flower sprig using the Versafine Onyx Black Ink on the panel. I then colored these flowers using the Craftangles Liquid Watercolor Shimmer in Rose Quartz and that gives a beautiful look. I stamped the smaller flowers across the sprig to give the effect of the wind blowing the flowers away.
To create the background I used the diluted brown watercolor . And finally, stamped the sentiments you are amazing from the same stampset on to the Craftangles Black Cardstock using the white embossing powder and stuck it using the 3D foam tape.
Finally adhered the panel which was later trimmed to 4x 5.25 inches on to the side folding note card created from the Craftangles Rose Pink cardstock.
Third Card
For my third card, I stamped the flowers from the Craftangles Mom You Rock on to the watercolor paper and then colored using the Craftangles Liquid Watercolor in Rose Quartz Shimmer and BlackBerry. After i was happy with the coloring i fussy cut it.
For the panel, I folded the pre cut Dual Textured White Cardstock in half alog the longer side. I then senticled the clouds using the pink dye inks in my stash to give it a dreamy and heavenly look.
Once i was happy I stamped the sentiments from the same stampset using the Black Dye ink and stuck the sprigs in the form of a wreath using the 3D foam tape and splattered some black paint. Embellished with the Nuvo Drops.
This one is really close to my heart represents the yin yang energies and how women are God sent.. isn’t it!!!
