Hello! I’ve come up with 3 quick watercolor ideas while playing with Craftangles ‘Poolside’ liquid watercolour today
You can see my entire process video here on Youtube on the HNDMD channel.
For the first card, I decided to paint some evil eyes using Craftangles ‘Poolside’ liquid watercolour and also paint a panel from which I could die cut some feathers.
I saw an image of a evil eye dream catcher on Pinterest and wanted to recreate it.
I have video of the entire process up on the HNDMD you tube channel.
To create a soft background, I used Craftangles hexagonal stacks stencil with Tim Holtz black soot ink and Craftangles blending brushes. I wanted the evil eyes to really pop!
Once all the watercoloured pieces were die cut and fussy cut, I put them together on the background panel and adhered the same to a 5″x7″ white card base.
For the second card,
I used stamps and dies from the Craftangles ‘Super girls’ stamp and coordinating die set.
I used the supergirl die to die cut the card front panel.
I then stamped a simple sentiment on the front of the panel.
To create an inlay, I watercoloured a panel using Craftangles ‘Poolside’ liquid watercolour and used the same die to die cut the coloured panel. Check out the process video on the HNDMD video channel.
I then inlaid the panel and adhered it all to a A2 size white card base to finish the card.
For the next card, I decided to do a watercolour wash using Craftangles Poolside liquid watercolour and stamp a bold statement to create a simple card.
You can check out the video on this quick watercolor ideas on HNDMD youtube channel
Here are all the panels at a glance.
And here is the third card.
The watercolours create such a dramatic background, its easy to add any sentiment to it and made a quick and simple card.
Hope you liked my cards and will enjoy the video.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
