Namaste Crafty Folks,
I hope you must be finished with creating and sending Christmas Cards in bulk to your family and friends and must now be getting ready with New Year Cards. So I decided to create some cards for the New Year that add all the sparkles and glitters and are ready in less time to post it to family and friends over the New Year.
Hoping that 2022 is a bright and cheerful for all of us. So with the same thought, I am creating 3 glittery and sparkly New Year Cards – Bling It On: New Year Cards using Craftangles Metallic Mica Pigment Powders. The star supply that I am featuring today is the Craftangles Fireworks Die and the Craftangles Mica Powders.
These New Year card ideas are great for mass produce and can be created in less time.
But before, proceeding further, take a look below for the details of our monthly challenge.

So here are my New Year cards today.
New Year Card 1
To create this New Year card, I cut a panel from the Craftangles Charcoal Black Cardstock which measures 4.25×5.5 inches and then die cut a window using a die in my stash, you can feel free to die cut or create a window using paper cutter or choose dies of your own choice from the Craftangles Dies. I highly recommend the following dies in place of the one that i have used and really great to build up the stash.
- CrafTangles Steel Dies – Stitched Rectangles (Set of 8 dies)
- CrafTangles Steel Dies – Postcard Rectangles (Set of 5 dies)
- CrafTangles Steel Dies – Stitched Squares (Set of 13 dies)
- CrafTangles Steel Dies – Wavy Squares (Set of 6 dies)
I then created a panel which is 1/4 inches bigger than this window for the ease of pasting it. I created this panel from the CrafTangles Dual textured White Cardstock and then painted the panel with the CrafTangles Mica Powder in copper using water.
Once the panel was dry, I ran it through my Big Shot to get a Fireworks die cut using CrafTangles Fireworks Die.
Once this panel was ready I stuck it behind the window using the liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from the CrafTangles Celebrating Diwali stamps et, by stamping on to the CrafTangles Charcoal Black Cardstock and heat setting it using the White Embossing Powder.

I pasted this sentiment strip beneath the window. Once everything on this panel was ready, I pasted this panel on to the A2 size tope folding note card. And my New Year Card is ready
Lets have a closer look at the New Year Card.
New Year Card 2
To create this New Year card, I cut a panel from the CrafTangles Charcoal Black Cardstock which measures 4.25×5.5 inches. Using the CrafTangles Fireworks Die Set, I die cut the CrafTangles Pink Cardstock and then pasted this panel on to the black panel. I added two thin strips of silver glitter cardstock to jazz it up.
I then painted the pink panel using the CrafTangles Mica powder In Jade shade to add a little glitter and spark it up.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the CrafTangless Celebrating Diwali stamps et, by stamping on to the CrafTangles Charcoal Black Cardstock and heat setting it using the White Embossing Powder. I pasted this sentiment strip between the two die cuts. Once everything on this panel was ready, I pasted this panel on to the A2 size tope folding note card. And my New Year Card is ready.

New Year Card 3
To create this New Year card, I cut a panel from the CrafTangles Charcoal Black Cardstock which measures 4.25×5.5 inches. I die cut a panel from the CrafTangles Dual textured White Cardstock and pained this using the CrafTangles Mica Powder in Amethyst shade using water and let it dry. after the panel dried up, I ran it through my Big Shot to get a die cut of the Crfatangles Fireworks Die.
I then pasted this panel on it on the CrafTangles Charcoal Black panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Craftangles Celebrating Diwali stamps et, by stamping on to the CrafTangles Charcoal Black Cardstock and heat setting it using the White Embossing Powder. I pasted this sentiment strip beneath the panel.
To pop it up I embellished with the Nuvo Drops in yellow and added 2 thin strips of the silver glitter cardstock to add interest. Click here to check the Nuvo drops
Once everything on this panel was ready, I pasted this panel on to the A2 size tope folding note card. And my New Year Card is ready.
