Table of Contents
Christmas card 1 – Stamping on kraft paper
I have used a lovely car illustration form Watercolor Christmas Element pack for this card. To make a scene, I stamp on Caramel brown cardstock first with white pigment ink and then colored ink and add some snowfall and snow banks with torn paper. I have used the sentiment happy holidays from the stamp set From all of us and stamped with red ink.
Christmas card 2 – Ink blending on colored cardstock
Using a colored cardstock is a great way to not build biceps while ink blending. For this card I have used a beautiful angel form Watercolor Christmas Element pack. To make a scene, I have used Rose pink cardstock, debossed it and blended Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress oxides with Blending brushes. I cut clouds out of Dual texture cardstock and vellum and layered above my ink blended panel.
Christmas card 3 – Create a simple scene
For this card I have used a cute Fox form Christmas Animals Element pack. To make a scene, I have used Dual texture cardstock and blended Salty oceans and Blueprint sketch Distress oxides with Blending brushes. I cutbirch trees and snow banks out of Dual texture cardstock aand layered above my ink blended panel.
Christmas card 4 – Adding stamped elements
I have used this beautiful Holiday treat platter illustration form Watercolor Christmas Element pack for this card. To make a scene, I swiped some light brown ink on Caramel brown cardstock and added a little details of a table cloth that I made with stamped checked pattern in red.
Here’s a video tutorial to see how I made these cards.
I hope you are inspired to use the element pack, next time you are in a hurry. Do not forget to join us at the monthly challenge with your Festive projects.
