4 Elegant Shabby chic cards

Hi! Here are the remaining Shabby chic cards that I made for the ongoing
Craftangles ‘Shabby chic and Vintage’ challenge.

4 Elegant Shabby chic cards 1

Today I have 4 elegant Shabby chic cards (or my version of Shabby chic!) for you, which I made using the Craftangles ‘Vintage Rosette’, ‘Wedding Bells’, and ‘Enchanted Blooms’ patterned papers.
I have also used Craftangles antique lace stencil, Craftangles Transfer It Sheets-Butterflies and
Craftangles white texture paste.

For the first two cards, I stamped with the Craftangles ‘Old newspaper stamp’ and Stazon ink on
Craftangles Vellum
I then tore these sheets and adhered them to the patterned paper bakckground. I then added some pressed flowers and adhered them to the card using a wax seal. This the first time I’ve tried this and these flowers are from a friends’ garden. I just love how they turned out!

For the third card, I used a small vellum over lay and added a birthday sentiment from
Craftanges birthday sentiment element pack

I then used the Craftangles butterflies Transfer sheet to add some butterflies for interest.
I found its a great was to adhere vellum to the card too.
I love that they are so translucent that they look gorgeous over the texture paste too!

For the last card, I used a similar overlay, but here added a fussy cut butterfly from the
Craftangles ‘Colourful flowers 4’ element pack.

I love how these cards turned out. I hope you enjoyed them too. You can see my entire process in the video here…
