Hello! Shabby chic and vintage is the theme of the Craftangles challenge this month, so I have made 4 birthday cards for you today with my version of ‘Shabby Chic’. You can find all the details HERE
If you have been following my work, you will notice, that I don’t usually go for layers and distressing, which are the some of the main elements of shabby chic art work. So, this was truly a challenge for me..
But, after much thought, I found that Craftangles had all that I needed to make beautiful cards.
I used Craftangles patterned papers from the
Enchanted blooms and Vintage rosette 6″x6″ paper packs.
I used Craftangles white texture paste (its brilliant and super fast drying) to create some interest.
The papers are so beautiful that I only needed a sentiment to finish the cards. I cut out some birthday sentiments from the
Craftangles Birthday sentiments 1, sentiments sheet.
You can see my entire process of making Shabby chic birthday cards
in the video below.
I hope you enjoyed these cards and video.

Have a nice day!
Hey! Lovely tutorial! I wanted to know what glue you used to stick the ropes and embellishments!
Thanks so much. I have used Fevicryl glue dots to adhere the cord and embellishments.
