Happy Weekend!
It’s Shabneez here showcasing the gorgeous Ombre Watercolour Paper Pad from my latest DT box. I am a paper lover and thought I’d see what different uses I could come up with for the papers.
For my first card, I used the paper in a conventional way as backing paper. I matt and layered the paper with a die cut, fussy cut element and sentiment to make a teacher card for my son to give to his teacher. Hope she likes it!
Second, I picked a stencil and used transparent texture paste through it then once it was dry I added Perfect Pearls and distress inks. I finished with a die cut sentiment. You can really see the shimmer can’t you?
For my final showcasing of the papers I used the same stamp on 3 different colours from the paper pad then added a sentiment with distress oxides as they show up so well on black card.
There you have it! A variety of uses for the same paper pad. I hope I’ve inspired you to try using paper pads in different ways for your cards.
There’s a different use for paper on the blog tomorrow so make sure you take a look!
See you again later in the month,
Shabneez
