Hello!
We are using the ‘Shades of the Rainbow‘ for a fun new challenge over at Craftangles this month.
You can find all the details HERE
I have three cards for you as inspiration today and I’ve used shades of rainbow in all.
For the first card, I started with a fun patterned paper from Craftangles for a black and white background. I then cut out the rainbow in all the rainbow colours using a Memory box rainbow die and Craftangles card stock. I used Craftangles Shimmer Liquid watercolours to create the splatter on the little mason jar. I cut up a sentiment from the Craftangles birthday sentiment element pack an added some sparkly stars to finish the card.
For the second card, I started with the Craftangles Rays stencil and a bunch of inks from Tim Holtz and Memento, to create a fun shades of rainbow background. I then stamped and fussy cut some candles and arranged them with double sided foam tape along with a fun sentiment from
Craftangles birthday sentiment element pack. I added some shiny stars to finish this card.
For the last card, I started with Craftangles watercolour paper, which was left over from another project. I painted shades of rainbow colours using Craftangles liquid watercolours, in stripes.
I then stamped a sprig of flowers from Craftangles Happily Ever After stamp set.
I finished this card by adhering it to a slime line card base. Simple and effective.
I hope you enjoyed these cards and found some inspiration.
